Summary
Escape Rooms at the Mills is a single-game escape room experience located in Belmont, NC. This is a very small operation that appears to just be getting started. The few people who are playing their games are enjoying The Outbreak, but it’s the only option available. The team needs to quickly add another game for their guests.
Our Experience
We haven’t been to Escape Room at the Mill so we can’t speak to this escape room directly. However, we’ll offer this advice.
- The website is very weak. For 2017, it falls well short of what the web demands today. It’s hard to have confidence in the business. They need to invest in their digital brand.
- Escape rooms with one game don’t work. There’s no way to build a recurring customer based since players won’t replay the game. There are plenty of articles out there on this. Hopefully they’ll add another room soon.

Closed Mon – Tues. 5-9:30pm Wed – Thurs. 11am – 11pm Fri – Sun.
What Others Say
The Mill is still very new to the scene so there’s not a lot of reviews out there. They’re getting great reviews from the small handful of customers who have engaged online. Their Groupon rating is lower than other escape rooms. Generally speaking, there’s not a lot to go on here.
